For the book pages, i had to choose words out of a book page and make a design describing those words.

For this project, i had to choose a picture that i wanted to trace onto the block and i had to carve it out.  After i carved it, i had to paint it and stick a piece of paper on it.  the picture would then appear on the paper.

This is my bird painting.  I had to make them exactly the same but flipped around.  I also had to use the same shading of blue in both of them.

This is my portrait of Ben Roethlisberger.  It was not the easiest thing to draw but i tried my best.  I use shading for the beard and the side burns.
